Default 2007 Monte Carlo SS stock rims and tires prices

Hi hope i'm in the right area. I have 4 used rims and tires that came off my 2007 MC SS. The tires are about brand new the brand is Toyo. Minor cosmetic on the rims no curb rash. I will try to enclose some photos. I am located in Sacramento CA if that will adjust the price. I plan on putting them on offer up or the classified section here if anyone thinks that is a good idea. Thank you everyone.

The market varies quite a bit for these, but TBH isn't particularly strong for that wheel style in general (compared to say Bonnie / GP GXP wheels).

I picked up a set for my monte about 5 years ago for $200 with good matching tires. I see theres a local one up now for $350 (good but mismatched tires), but its been sitting for a month.

I'd probably start by perusing your local classifieds to see if there is any historical data there you could base it off of. Id also post in the classifieds here just to see, but its going to be a limited pool of locals as no one is going to want to pay shipping for something like that.

If they end up sitting for awhile and the tires are really near new, I'd consider pulling the tires off and selling them separate. Thats where most of your value is (especially if you cleaned off the yellow paint) and it would drastically open up your market to move them quick.

OK thanks for the input. I looked up new stock rims and they go for quite a bit of $ so I thought my set would be worth more but i'll put them on offer up and see what the deal is after looking around at comparable sets.

I'm sure they're crazy expensive brand new. The bad thing is no one outside of insurance companies (when mandated to use new / OEM by policy) really buys new stock wheels - especially on a platform as old as the wbody.

Most of the used stock wheels sold are either parted out from wrecked cars or come from people who bought aftermarket replacements / have the stock wheels as excess, and those values tend to be far lower and vary drastically by desirability.

I will say the upside you've got going for you is that they're high trim level wheels. Base model wheels can be almost impossible to sell for any real money, at least on this platform.

OK thanks for your input. I am going to keep them as I think I will be selling the car soon. If anyone is interested in a low mileage rare 2007 MC SS let me know!!

I need a set that would fit an 2003, however as the poster said above by the time I pay shipping from California to Florida I could buy a brand new set of rims and tires.

Those are nice rims and tires. I live in Florida so the shipping would be a nice big chunk of money. I’m sure that you will find someone locally to buy them. I use my Monte Carlo as a driver to get me to work with reasonable gas mileage. My last Monte was a 1999 with a 3.1 and I put 399,960 miles on it before she gave up on me. I wanted 400,000 really bad. The old girl just gave up on me.

WOW. Thats a lot of miles. Did you just do normal maintenance jobs on it or did it eat up a tranny or anything? Mine has about under 89k with the 5.3 liter. Not sure the average on the engines but the transmissions aren't great but mine was rebuilt at 40,xxxK miles and looks fresh still. Mine is a 2nd car so the mileage will go up slowly unless sold.

I replaced the water pump and a power steering pump. I never changed any of the wheel bearing’s or any other large repairs on the 1999. I was driving 180 miles a day round trip to work at that time. My ride to work is only 50 miles these days one way and I have 5 more years until retirement and I hope that the 2003 I have now will last until retirement.
