Sounds awesome at idle, but I'm not crazy about the raspy-esque sound when letting off the gas or when giving it a lot. I'm glad I kept my resonator on. Have you heard my exhaust?

 

Yeah, they do that when the engine is cold. Once the oil gets flowing real good and it heats up a bit that calms down. It also only does when revving while parked, but never does while driving.
Yep, the Pace Car editions came like that. One of the reasons I bought it over a regular SS.

 

Depends on how loud I have the radio!

There is a drone too it, but I can handle it. I'm used to cars with drones. Both of my mom's Monte's had true dual straight pipes...so yeah...

 

What do you think of the sound when DOD/AFM kicks on?

 

It sounds the same in the car to be honest. My Avalanche did the same thing, at RPM the sound doesn't really change that much.
