Some of the Jr edtiions didn't have the stripes installed, depending on how it was ordered by the dealership. The Chevy dealership I bought mine from ordered two Jr editions. One with all the decals installed, and one without the stripes and windshield decals.

I bought the one with the stripes, the other one sat on the lot for four years, then went to auction.

 

I saw a couple of the Tony Stewart Monte's on CL in one of the cities in my state. I think they wanted over $13,000 each. I like them and kind of wish I could afford one. I like the orange on the car and on the Speedometer numbers.

I've never seen a Jr car without the stripes. I don't think it would look as good and the stripes are one of the things that make the car appealing IMHO.

i went on e-bay and couldn't find any tony stewart montes, not that i could afford one anyway! i'm happy with the monte i have!!!!

 

Someone should do a reverse dale jr monte. Black with red and silver stripes.

 

A black Monte with red DEI stripes sounds kinda cool. Maybe on an Intimidator Monte. But wouldn't it kinda look like a Martin Truex car with the wrong color stripes?

My car didn't have the stripes. Whether that was original is unknown.

Someone has done an inverted Junior car scheme and it looks awesome! I've seen it on car on CarDomain. It actually a bad *** Intimidator edition.

Im not to sure on the red in the vents but I like the stripes.
