Lets see the shifter and steering wheel. SLP made for a VERY limited amount of carbon fiber esque/ and wood covered steering wheels and shifters. VERY VERY VERY rare to find these. I've only seen one car with the carbon fiber and that was online.

Does the car also have the LSX floor mats?

its just your standard LS interior. nothing special on that end. I found out who did the work for the dealership, but their computer system crashed in 2005 so no records of what was done to the car. IM DOOMED i think. Talk about frustrating.

You aren't doomed, it's still a great looking car...&& I'm guessing no one noticed that it didn't have the SLP top grille on it

You know what your right; he doesn't have the SLP top grille. Nor do you have any of the interior pieces and badging. You might not have a genuine SLP LSX MC. I don't either but I claim LSX clone. I have the key chains, floor mats, badges, upper and lower grilles, exhaust tips/exhaust. But who cares especially if you don't have paper work to prove it. You still have the wheels, pcm tune from what it sounds like, and a very rare spoiler that I want so freaking bad I would be willing to pay some big dollars for at this point. Congrats on a beautiful car!!!

i didnt think is was "genuine" SLP....i was just trying to find out as much info as possible about the "chip"...Now i just have to make a rim decision, if i lower it with SSC springs, im trying to figure out if 18s or 20s will look better....decisions, decisions

I noticed that, and was going to point out that the "stage" packages like the one on the trunk lid were available through SLP for a few years for a couple bucks each.

Out of curiosity though, does your car have a stock air box or the SLP air box?

Honestly, "Chips" in general don't do much so if your perhaps thinking the "Chip" Gave you more HP or something to that effect it probably did not, if you want a true tune to find out how much HP you have you will probably need to take it to a speed shop with a dyno in your area.

As for the people who do the SLP conversions, it's funny cause I have DE headrests and DE speedo, no other DE emblems on the outside or inside of my car, and everyone thinks mine is a DE edition....lol.
