Is everything else in good condition? I guess it kind of depends on how many problems it has. It sounds like a good deal to me

Welcome to the MCF, you can't get much for $1500.00
What is the over`all condition of the car ? How many miles are on it ? How's the body/interior etc ? From your profile it states that you are a auto detailer & you should know a few good mechanic's...If you are not one, I would suggest that you get a friend(s) to check out the mechanic's of this Monte to help you decide...To me it sounds like a super price 4-Sure, but again `if it's a abused/banged `up Monte I would avoid..The 3.8L is a bullet proof engine `if it has been maintained...

Please post more detailed infor on this Monte for member's to assist...Good Luck

The interior and exterior of the car is in very good condition. The owner is a one owner and says everything else is in good working condition however he said it is having major computer problems. Tires are less then 2000 miles tread wear on them

If it's truly just electronics and you are mechanically inclined yourself to fix it. worth it.

If you are taking it to a shop for diagnosis, there may be more than you think wrong with it, and overall you'll be more money than just finding a well running car already.

I talked to the owner and he says the car will not start or run, just don't know for sure what I want to do. I guess If nothing else it could be a really good parts car.

x2. My rule of thumb is if the car can't start and I can't drive it, no more than $1000
