2002 Monte Carlo check engine light on, A LOT OF EXHAUST SMOKE FROM TAIL PIPE

I have a 02 Monte Carlo, i know i need a new battery but my "Check Engine" just came on and was blinking while driving, and it's ALOT OF EXHAUST SMOKE coming from the tail pipe....

Sadly sounds like a Blown head gasket. There could be a number of things depending on model I guess.

Go to an Auto Parts Store and use an OBD-2 Code Reader to determine what is the cause of the CEL being triggered ON.

Write down the Code(s) that are showing and report back with those results!
