i thought i would share a problem with the fix. i have dual climate control & have cold air on passenger & warm air on drivers side.if i raise temp on drivers side it gets hot. this told me the temp control was working.i checked for vacuum leak in dash -ok. i recovered the freon & pulled vacuum on a/c system. charged it with the correct amount of r134a freon (1.88 lbs.) i now have 38 degree air out both sides. i hope this may help someone else.

 

mine has yet to do it on either of my montes, both have the dual climate control, but I've heard this is a common problem with them and its great to know the fix in advance. Thanks for the info

 

Mine does this too when the freon gets low. I have a small leak somewhere.
