I'm getting about 20-22 mpg in town driving only, probably about ten miles a day at the most.

Are you guys going off of what your HUD is telling you or do you actually calculate it when you fill up. My car says I was getting 20... but when I calculated it I was only getting 16.

What's the HUD? The little display by the sunroof? HUDs that I know of display number in the glass when you're driving. Anyways, DRuben, what you can assess from this threqad is that yes, you do have a problem, lol.

I am in the same boat as you. I was getting 27mpg@75mph and 32mpg@60mph on cruse or 25mpg having some fun. Now I am getting 20mpg@75mph on cruse, however she runs great and feels stronger then when I was getting better mpg.

I have always felt like ECU's adjusts to your driving habits. Anyone know if this is true?

Anyway I just hit 105K miles so I did plugs wires and O2 over the weekend. Today no change, maybe a little worse.. I just disconnected the battery for an hour to reset the ecu. I drive 150miles a day 95% highway (4 days a week) so lets see what I get tomorrow.

My Monte is all stock..

Doug

I get abut 13 in city and about 21 highway, and averages turns to be in the 15-18mpg. But I have a turbo without a tune causing horrible mileage even though I don't ever floor it anymore with the instant gas reading at like 4mpg etc.... I also live in PA with all the hills etc.

But before the turbo I had like about 25 highway and about 16 city averaging 20mpg stock......so maybe 20 is about right?
