Monte of the Dayby `Space[:-]Do Monte Carlo's hold their Value ?Below link has 21 various years MC's 4-SaleThe below Monte Carlo is a find example of theFirst GenerationCHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
DESCRIPTION (more pic's below link: )
Here is the one you have been waiting for! A “72” Monte Carlo 402 “Big Block”, one owner. That’s right! The car was special ordered and built at the Arlington, TX assembly plant. It was delivered to a Dealer in Fort Worth, TX and then to its proud owner in Mansfield, TX. It has spent its entire life in the Dallas/Fort Worth are with the exception of 7 years when the owner lived in Oklahoma. This is one of the best examples of a “surviver “car you will ever find. It’s never been wrecked and engine is totally original (never even needing valve cover gaskets). It doesn’t smoke, doesn’t leak oil and runs strong. The only mechanical work ever required was a new water pump in about 1990. The car was ordered with the optional 402 Big Block, Turbo 400 Transmission, and Positrac. It comes with great documentation including the original “deal sheet”, window sticker, owner’s manual, warranty folder with the “protect-o-plate”, and numerous other documents that came with this one of a kind automobile. This was a family car for several years and was driven a lot in the seventy’s. For the last twenty or so years it has been in the garage and driven only on weekends or special occasions. It is licensed as an antique vehicle so it doesn’t require an inspection sticker in Texas and insurance is really cheap!! In 1993 it was professionally repainted the original “Antique” white. The seat covers, carpet and headliner re-done with originals at the same time. Many of the light bulbs are originals including one of the headlights. The car looks and drives like new. The air conditioner works great and still has R-12 refrigerant in the system. We are not interested in any trades unless you have just the right Harley A true classic surviver at the low price of $19,900.00
