Default 1988 SS W/t-tops should I buy?

Whats a good price for a clean all original 88 monte SS w/t-tops. runs/drives like new. Needs minor body work.

Unless it's in really really good condition and it has very few miles, my first offer would be no more than 3K.

As long as the rust is fixable, id say 1k is a great deal. Maybe offer him 800 and see what he says.

1K sounds like a good deal, but I agree, the rust could be an issue. How does the under belly of the car look?

The frame and underbody are solid. maybe a little surface rust. The only area that seems to have rust is the very bottom of the rear wheel wells and the rear corner of the drivers door. I thought the price sounded cheap for an all original SS w/t-tops.
