My 06 rims look terrible. THe clear coat is coming off. Is it worth redoing the rims? Will they look right after the redo?

 

If you can find the right place, yes, it's worth it. Check potential shops reviews and past work. Also have them give you an estimate for what you want done. I'd be interested in what you find cost-wise so post back when you have some estimates.

 

Are you looking to DIY or have a shop do it? If you take it to a good shape, it'll look perfect when it comes back. As for if it's worth it - depends how much they charge and how much you're wiling to spend.

I wouldn't think it would be all that bad though as long as theres not a bunch of damage and rash they have to fix too.

My tires stick out a bit over the fender. I wasen't a fan at first but it's growing on me. Look way better than those dull looking clear coat flaking factory rims.
