The LT3 is a package that comes with The 3.9, duals, and a nascar spoiler. when it says "A" for available, there is a lil number next to it the number is "4" then go down to the fine print on the PDF document, and it says, "4. Included and only available with option PEG 3LT" Any option under the LT row that has an A4 is the LT3 package, and that what comes with it.

 

Still not seeing any difference besides the rockers being a diff color. I might need some better pics of the LTZ tho. but still not seein it.

Trust me its not paint on the lower rockers
I think Chris has my pic of my car, once the temp drops under 90 deg towards the end of the week I will take some pic's of my LTZ and post them on here.
she is a little dirty right now so I want to clean her up first

 

Mmwrench if your's is a true LTZ then the rockers ARE painted body color. And LT3 is correct in that the 3.9 v6, nascar spoiler, are not options on an LT3....they are part of the package itself. Read your manual again....

 

LT3 rockers are black, I.E. not painted body color, but on SS and LTZ the rockers are painted the body color of vehicle.

If the rockers on the bottom of doors are just painted, You better take it back and tell them something is missing on the car
Mine has a ground package on it.

Mine looks like his... that is not paint. That is a panel or ground effect what ever you want to call it. But its not painted......

Mmwrench I hate to tell you but RJ's rockers look EXACTLY like mine PAINTED body color. On LT3's this 'rocker' is black/unpainted.....use some glasses dude. They are not ground effects!!

 

Oh and FYI I know this because I work for GM. Also read your brochure, yet again, and it explains.

 

And should we give you a bozo button for working for GM..........

 

NO but you should pay attention. Those rockers are held on by 2 bolts front/rear in fender area. There are 5-6 clips that are aluminum on the bottom side. Take a look and tell me if I'm wrong?!!!
