When I first read this I was wondering what was going on, Cuz I thought for sure there was no stock Supercharger in 02 (which I don't know why it took them so long, considering the history with Pontiacs).
Anyway I was thinkin just a turbo dropped it to 12.5 in the quarter, where do i find one of these turbos?...lol

I know that for years up until Pontiac changed to the "G series", GM marketed Pontiac as their sporty line of vehicles.
I suspect GM didn't put the supercharger into the Monte's until '04 because they wanted the performace minded people to buy the Grand Prix. When sales of the Monte went down, they put the s/c in to boost sales.

Tim at ZZPerformance is trying REAL hard to convince me to pull my supercharger and replace it with their turbo kit for a 500+WHP car!
If you have the option of either, the turbo is the ONLY way to go for SERIOUS power AND drivability.
