I have a 23 year old car and a 15 year old car, not rich kid ish by much When i was in high school you could tell the difference between who worked for their car and who just got handed a car. I have more respect for those who worked to get their car.

My Monte is my daily driver and to get around when I want to go some where. My kids would rather ride in the Monte then my 2009 Journey that the lovely wife drives.

Oh well at least it looks good when we do take it out.

 

I bought my Magnum SRT to drive and not look pretty at a car show. Even though it looks damn good at car shows, it has nicks in the paint and the tires show wear from mountain rides. I haven't made the decision on my Monte. My Camaro was daily driven for 6 years and I enjoyed every minute of it.

 

6th Monte is Daily/ will be trowing her in some shows this year

4th gen is in pieces but it will be the fun weekend/track/show whenever it gets done

 

I worked for my monte,paid all myself!!!! Its my daily but i cant wait to start showing Hopefully in the fall i will have my winter monte
BTW my friend just got a v8 caddy,and another one is waiting for his new wrx from the factory,...

 

Same with mine, paid for it myself. Sadly shes just my road warrior for now and probably til the day she dies. The wrx kid, he pay for the car or did someone else buy it for him

 

Mary jane is mostly a street car with a little track time.

 

Mine is for style plus I drive 60 miles round trip to and from work so its pretty fun at the same time, In a year or two i'm going for performance all the way !

 

Mine is just a summer toy for cruises and once in a very blue moon a trip to walmart where it hides in the farthest spot from any car. Hopefully one day I can get a DD monte lol just dreams though
