and yah that concept for the chevelle does look like an rx8...i couldn't put my finger on it..thanks for pointing that out...
they almost really need to make it look exactly like the old one only very little modernization like the new dodge challenger

Even though it doesn't look that nice anymore. It has been sitting my back yard for 15 years waiting for restoration. This is a picture of someone else's but mine is the exact same color and configuraton.

A car buddy has a '65 SS.
He sold an award winning '67 Nova he'd had for years to buy the '65 Chevelle. It's the exact car he had in high school.

I traded a '67 Camaro RS to get the SS. I just remember everyone making fun of the Camaro and calling it "Real Slow."
GPD,
I can recall people making fun of the 1st gen Camaros. Mainly cause of the mono leaf springs they came with.
A woman I worked with when I was19 owned a '68 her husband bought used for her. She let me drive it one day. Talk about lots of flapping noises coming from the rear?

God I hope that's not what it's going to look like. That is one ugly concept. Bringing back the Chevelle nameplate would be nice, but GM better come up with something better looking than that.

I agree, I never liked the way the car felt. It was heavy and cumbersome. I know they bring in big bucks now, but my Chevelle SS was a lot lighter and a lot quicker.
