*insert joy here* Cone filter installed!
Just got back from my time `out. It was great to read that `Jen was not offended & was just joking...
Sometimes I'm just a space type cone head
I don't know what I was think'in

I must remind myself when I look in2 my mirror of life to watch how I phrase my words 4-Sure...(For some unknown reason, I am desiring some ice cream) I don't know why

That kitty is crazy, you think he would learn, but he must belike space & keeps on doing it again & again...I will check back
later to see if the kitty get's tired & stops (LOL)
There he goes again LOL

I'd go with CAInductions if it had the solid tube to go with their kit...I want something smooth, like K&N's pipe.

for the price I'm getting one...you can't go wrong. I'm buying one off of someone when I get my taxes for $150. I plan on wrapping the kit with thermo-wrap & see if I can custom make some insulation for the box. For the price of supplies its going to be nowhere near the amount of a new kit.

Also I have a hard time keeping that hard K&N tube connected to my TB. The couplers constantly loosen up on me and the tube pops out.
Also I have had the tube actually bend on me, and then let in unmetered air.

(They did replace this tube for me, but I still have no hopes for it)
Truthfully a Wizaired kit is about $240, all said and done. You already have a cone filter (if it's large enough) you could save that $40. For the quality of the kit, I would think that tiny bit of money extra is worth it.
This is just my 2cents. When a car gets modified, I like to see it done correctly. Sometimes you have to pay a touch more, but it's most likely worth it.
Sounds good! I just put a cone filter in my car about a month ago. It was just a simple cone on the end of a pvc pipe. My engine bay is looking really dirty right now so I never have it opened for anyone anyway so I didn't care how it looked. I just wanted a bit of a change in the tone and it definitely changed. Seems to accelerate a little faster than it used to but not that much to make a big deal about it.
