Cause the Deuce treats me right.... LOL She does turn heads eathier at a car show or just tooling down the road. Ya got some bling on the walls and shelves in the garage from some judges that thought the same.

Bottom line, I don't really care about if other people like or don't like the Deuce, she always has been good to me and we have a great relationship together.

I hope this thread encourages member's to stay active on the MCF + take some quality pictures & put them in their albums or contain a link to their photo site so member's can view.

To me quality pictures on the web or the MCF is the #`1 priority.

I think my 1984 AND my 2002 Montes are both winners because, first of all, they are mine!!
They both serve two different purposes in my life but I love both of them.
The 1984 gives me the means to drive as fast as I can (at the track) and challenge myself to do something JUST FOR ME!! I had always wanted to drag race (and always wanted a Monte Carlo) but would not do it because I had kids to take care of at home. The kids are on their own now and when I found this car I KNEW that this was the car for me!! She is pretty and getting faster and more consistent each time we go to the track!!
I love working on her to make our performance better and I have the satisfaction of knowing that it was ME that worked on her to get her to this point (with the assistance of others when needed). I am not scared to get dirty or bust my knuckles working on her because I know that once I am done, I will have that satisfaction of another job being completed to make us better the next time out (hopefully...LOL). I race her because I want to and I have a blast. I do it for no one other than myself!! Yeah, it's great to win, and she has proven herself a winner and runner up both in the first season, but knowing she got down the track because of the work I had done is worth more than any trophy you could give me!!!

My 2002 is a winner too because she gets me to and from work to make the money to be able to work on and race the 84!!! And she sure looks good doing it!!! No modifications done on her yet because I am still taking in how good she looks and performs and I haven't had her very long. I WILL be getting new headlights and taillights for her because they ALL have condensation in them and they need to be replaced. She will make ONE pass down the track this year just so I have some numbers on her!

My monte is a winner cause it is awesome I constantly get compliments on the shape my car is in especially considering it is a daily driver with high mileage. Although right now it is kind of a white with mud color lol, got to love the winter driving

Losers don't drive Monte Carlos. But that doesn't mean that you are a loser if you don't. It just means that it is harder for you to win

Lets just say it was a "New Born" when I received/ordered it.

Its been raised to always do the right thing.
It shows respect everywhere it goes.
It never gets abused. Its very well behaved.
It has everything a new born would need. and treated with love,kindness, and is fed only the best and with regular changings its always happy .
It also comes from a very loving family of Monte Carlo's

I think my Monte is a winner because it is mine. It has been driven a ton of miles in a little time and has done very well. When it is all clean up, she still shines and looks great. There is many other things but I can't think of them right now. Haha
