i try to get gas @ canadian tire gas bar up here, because the owner is a friend of ours, when i'm out of town i am for sunoco usually

and i fill up on 89 octane (midgrade)

 

I use 93 octane,usually buy it at Exxon or Hess.Prices have come down a bit in our area.Most stations are $2.75 for 87 octane,$2.85 for 89 octane,and $2.95 to $2.99 for 93 octane.There are 2 stations having a gas war near my work and they are down to $2.27 for 87 octane.The lines are crazy though.It even made the Philly news.
My average MPG with the 5.3 V8 is right around 20.

 

 

I feed mine a mix of 89 ethanol and 91 ethanol. I get better mileage from the 91, just recorded 29 mpg highway yesterday with the D.I.C. 89 when I have to buy it in town. I was getting the 91 from a place near my work, but they've closed now, so no more cheap gas. Their 91 was cheaper than the 89 I get from the local BP!

with 89 I see low 20s for city, and around 25 highway, with the 10% ethanol. It's hard to find non-ethanol that isn't expensive in iowa (20 cents more than with ethanol) because being a corn growing state we're big into the ethanol thing.

 

I use shell 87 octane. Hey whizz is yours s/c? Do you realize it calls for premium?

 

I use regular 87 Octane, and she runs just fine. Usually on a trip, I will alternate between 87/89 Octane, but I have had no problem with the regular.

 

space you have to remember that canadian prices are half the price because thier in litres

i am running regular now but am going to have to make the jump to premium once my programmer comes in

 

I run premium (91 octane)with 10% ethanol. I could run regular, but sooner or later i'm going to get a programmer so I figure why not run premium right now? I'm paying around $3.00 a gallon. I can fill the tank up with about $40 of premium. Not too bad considering I get around 400 miles on a tank.
