Hello Robbie from Chi-town. Does your LS have the 3.8 in it? There are LOTS of sites for those engines, but not as many for the 3.4. ZZperformance.com and search for grand priz, pyfc.com, intense-racing.com, 3800performance.com, and on and on. gmpartsdirect is a good source for factory parts at a discount, but the shipping puts it up to just under what you could buy it for at a dealer.
Start with a cold air intake and a u-bend delete pipe in the exhaust, a flow-robbing pipe used to protect the O2 sensor. Those are the 2 main items to replace. From there, seriously, I'd consider going to a turbo kit, but $$$$.

The 3.4 that you have is does not have as much stuff as the 3.4 but if you look hard enough, you'll find it. Catback, zzp downpipe, milzy performance tune, wiziard intake. Would give you a nice little power boost and be faster then a stock 3.8

Milzymotorsports.com
zzperformance.com
intense-racing.com

Swap to 3800 engine. Add turbo.

About 5 grand or so for the conversion but you would have a kick *** Monte.

The 3.4 litre 3400 engine is most commonly used in the 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am and Oldsmobile Alero. Engine parts for the V6 Grand Am (and Grand Am GT) should work on yours. If you go to sites like www.pfyc.com maybe try lookingin the Grand Am section.

When I was on a grand am forum, there was a very limited production of turbos that had been made for the 3.4 engine. But were super expensive. They arevery hard to find since the 3.4 litre engine was discontinued due to design problems.
