From your windshield?? was there a crack or was the seal broken???? and how did you fix it. I know the leak is not from the door it is coming down like around where the left side foot rest thing is where that meets the back behind the pedals is where the water seems to be coming from but i just cant find the source i was thinking of just redoing the weather stripping on the side as well??? opinions

I used a cup of water, poured with the door open around the windshield, tried to find the leak, isolated it to a small section of my windshield seal and I epoxied that little section

This worked fine on my 2001 impala. Had water about 4 inches deep on the passenger side floor due to Hurricane Isaac. Got the part at Superior Chevy for $3.73 and an AC Delco filter for $30. There was no filter upon opening the cowl and the weather stripping was just laying there not even on the metal edge.

I just finished the deflector install on my 2004 Dale Jr. Thanks for posting the directions. The install went very smoothly. I only paid $4.20 for mine from the dealer. I had to order it. Mine actually said "M Carlo/Buick/G Prix" on my deflector. It was not a sticker but actually made into the plastic of the part. I replaced my cabin filter a little over three years ago and about 12,000 miles ago and it was barely dirty.

Just wanted to add a thanks to this post. Had a couple of inches of water on the floor and was able to use the part number posted to get the part for $4 and installed it in about 15 min. Next day it rained hard but the inside is dry now.

Were some of these cars built with the inflector installed? I just got one off of a 1998 lumina out of the junkyard only it has two fingers not three and you can tell there was no third finger almost like it was built from the factory with it. I don't think a previous owner put it on before it went to the junkyard for years.
