Looks like a great install. There's nothing like being able to do these mods yourself and getting to feel the pride of doing it.

And the enhanced sound of the whine of the supercharger sure is a plus when you can put the pedal to the floor.

The whine of the s/c sounds AMAZING... I took my mother for a ride out to eat in the Monte and when getting onto the highway, she said "Slow down, how fast are you going!!??" I stated to her that I had not exceeded the speed limit that's how the engine now sounds with it's brand NEW CAI!! It really does have more of a whine when you put that foot down.

I have not noticed anything else yet as far as MPG or HP, I'm sure the MPG will get worse just cause you know want to stomp on that pedal to get that s/c whine... But I'll keep an eye and see if I can gain 1-2 MPG.

Some of you may notice from the picture that I have not yet placed the strut brace back in place yet, as I like the look of the air box too much to cover up at this time... I plan on getting the cross strut brace for both the front and rear... I hope not having the fender strut brace in place becomes a problem?

mine k&n filter came oiled?

 

hay duderino coldairinductions makes one for the 7th gen it fits the 3900 and the 3500 engine its a simular design as the zzperformance. but it is made for our model

 

Has anyone tried one of these with a Gen V M90. By looking at it I am thinking my K&N setup is going to be too big to fit. Hopefully I can find something that works.

 

Works on a Gen V, you just have to choose Series III when ordering
