Where do I order the whole kit at? I'd like to get it for my LS before i do my L67 swap.

 

GREAT THREAD! But if I understand this correctly, this guy bought this package from gmpartsdirect? If he did, they dont sell them painted anymore. And an unpainted package is $1041.85 is that a reasonable price or does anyone know a better method?

 

Thats alot. Best bet is craigslist, but they are very uncommon. I lucked out on mine and got everything for $150 (guy had a smashed one so i grabbed wheels and the ground effects). But yea craigslist is kinda your only option. That or maybe check local junkyards?

 

does the complete kit come with all the hardware and the side ground effects? How much was shipping??

 

this might seam like a really stupid question, but any tips on how to remove these, the rear and side skirts?

 

You also want to put several layers of masking tape on the front fender ahaed of the door. You won't need to protect the door since it will be open as you work.

You will need to use a flat bladed screwdriver to release the clips that hold the rocker to the car. These are located under the car. As you release the clip, pull the rocker toward you so that they release. There are 8 of these on each side of the car.

The Rocker off the car

Once you release the gray clips on the bottom of the rocker, open the door, and start at the back of the car, and pull the rocker out from the bottom while pushing up on it. This will release the clips that are behind the rocker. This takes some force to get the first couple to release. But once the first one does the rest come out easy. With the rocker off, remove the clips that will be left in the car. You get all new ones in the kit so don’t worry about the ones that break.

Your install steps was very helpful though I have not started, but im lost as far as the self stick vinyl template, where can I obtain that from, or is there an alternate way around it.
