C1225 is a code for the Left front wheel sensor---It sends information back to the computer that controls the ABS brake system & traction control.The visual repair is usually a disconnected sensor wire or broken wire.Other than that it can be a faulty sensor--dirt or rocks or debris on the reluctor wheel ring or a false or isolated one-time code-

so i have a 98 monte carlo. its been parked for a while because of the service engine light. i finally got someone to look at it today and actually scan it and it gave me two codes.
first one was P0440 Evaporative emision. and i changes the fuel cap because thats what everybody told me to do. idk if it has worked or not because i just did it.
any help with that one?

the other code was P1665 which the scanner told me it was fuel level output system or EVAP vent control system? i really dont know what this means. and i need help ASAP. this is my only car and i need it to drive to school and work. does someone have any ideas? please help.

Does the 2007 Monte Carlo LS have the OBD II port? I am very novice when it comes to this.

Yes it should be under the dash on the drivers side somewhere. If your check engine light is on you can go to any auto zone and they can pull the codes for you.

2002 monte with P1819

Hey guys first post and strait to the point. 02 monte with a P1819 code. Sounds like the Neutral safety switch??? if so can i get detailed info on replacing it or bypassing it? here is the deal i chainged oil and parked it, it sat for 3 months and when i go to start it i hear a slight switch click sound and cluster lights go out. New battery as well. I thought it might be the ignition switch with the key sending the wrong freq and then the security system auto shuts it down. Hands up in the air so any help would be greatly appreciated.
