Where is the thread to remove the gauge cluster... ??? that is SOOOOO frightening to me, i'd like to see the write up for the removal of the guage cluster.

VERY cheap and simple mod, thanks for sharing!

i made a video, on the second page there is how to pull the needles off too and a link to the whole getting into the cluster

Great video as well, thats the video I learned how to from. Now that Ive did it so many times, it comes second nature...lol.... Did any of you guys tackle this yet? If so, post your pics... thanks...MJ....

thanks, i sent my cluster in for leds and paid and everything right before you came out with this, i was looking for brighter lights overall so that might benefit me to go with leds, but this is a very good idea man

anyone else get this done yet? thinking about picking up the stuff today and doing it while my car is trapped in the garage from all the expected snow

update* well.. wasted a few hours driving around to the areas hobby shops and michaels... no luck. guess ill have to find it online

ehhh...im thinking this is kinda iffy...im a 16 year old who isnt exactly rich and wants his monte to look sweet...but lol, what if i break some **** when im working...$100 repair at the least...ik to be careful, but with these cars, who knows...there could be a fault from the factory, like my 3.8 V6 valve covers going out, almost never happens in a 3.8 under 250,000 miles...and mine did it at 120,000...fault from the factory, so im hesitant to do this when it could hurt my car that i dont have the money to fix
