hey guys... well, I have the spare cash to get my PCM tuned by ZZP, but, I need some quick info. 1) how much would a used PCM cost from a junk yard so I can ust send THAT one in and keep my run functional for the next few weeks? 2) anything special you recommend I have done?

 

I was thinking on doing the same thing lol so the information your looking for is the information im looking for.... and i thought you bought one pre programmed....

I would imagine the used pcm would be about $50 or so. Depends where you get it.

 

I would think you could buy a PCM from ZZP and send you old one to them after you install the new one. Core charge applying, of course, but then you would save the $50, right? Standard stage 1 PCM from them is $90, yours might be $110, with a $90 core, refundable. They couldn't flash mine in the car. They security system objected. So they removed mine and installed a brand new PCM for the same price, no labor. Even with the current problem I am having with them right now with my flex plate and TC, I still like these guys.
