Well looks like you would be able to make it home if the supercharger belt broke, but would have lousy gas mileage. Of course if the main belt that runs your alternator and power steering broke then all bets are off as your battery would die.

Yes the car will still run, and run fine, it just will not be fast (at least as far as L67's go). At all. Low compression and the missing boost... A Cavalier would probably be faster.

Agree with the above, the car will drive just fine without a blower belt, it'll just be way down on power.
I wouldn't worry about the belts any more than any other car. Sure it's possible to have a defective belt, but that's super rare. A belt should last a long time before needing replacement.
Only real downside to these cars is that they have 2 belts and a tensioner on each belt, so it's twice as much stuff to replace with age/mileage.
