Default ZZP Coil packs

How do the ZZP packs compare to OEM? ZZP price is $25 for one.

I'm looking to replace all three. My 2003 Monte SS hesistates like crazy when its wet out or has rained overnight. It will does this for the first 5 miles or so then its runs perfect. Seems like something needs to dry out. I had this problem about 6 months ago, and the dealer replaced the plugs and wires under warranty. Its has run perfect until today. Thanks, Rob

OEM plugs / wires / coil packs are all perfectly fine.

Not 100%, but I figured for under $100 I could replace all three. One more thing to knock off the list of possibly being faulty.

take your car to a shop that will give a cheap/free diagnosis. then you know for sure it's the coil packs. it could be a number of things in your ignition system OR your fuel system ie fuel pump, fuel filter, injector(s) etc. i would narrow it down first before you go spend $$$ on what you MIGHT think it is.

I thought about taking to shop, but problem is reproducing the symptons. Only occurs when it has rained, and the car has been sitting for close to a day. Might be related to humid weather too. Hosing down certain engine areas has not reproduced the problem.
I'm leaning more towards ignition than fuel since it only occurs when wet out. Once things dry out, car drives great even through downpours.

water can always make a problem 100x worse though, what if the next time it rains it doesn't act good after it warms up and something seizes?

That is a good point. Last time I went through this, it took about 3 weeks to get right conditions to cause problem. I'm thinking with the car being 6 years old, even though it only has 51,000 miles, other igintion parts are starting to fail intermittently.

Definitely sounds like the syptoms of bad coil packs- the ZZP ones will be fine for you if you do need to replace them.
