Lightbulb z34 style ?

Hello i just bought a 1996 Monte Carlo and the owner stated it is a Z34. I don't believe him. Does any one know if the 1996 z34 came with a 3.1L motor?

Typically the Z-34 in 96 had a 3.4 motor, it was overhead cam engine. This car should have a dual exhaust also. The Bowties on the Front and rear will have a Red surround, and the Z-34 badge would be on the Rear panel. Check the photo's I attached.

Thank you drivernumber3 My car does have the duel exhaust but the motor is 3.1L. Last owner did a lot of modifications to the car like paint over a lot of the logo's and add Z34 all over the outside of the car. Its a mess let me tell you. Is there any other features that would stick out to make it a Z34. Example back seat. the one i have has a 3 seats in the back.

It's just a mimic, they would only have the 3400 DOHC engine.

Well not sure about he 3 seats, you can seat three people in the back if you need to. My son had a Monte that he had all the seats occupied, mostly Girls all the time. The photo I have included is the back seat after I took it out and it's sitting in my Garage.

When you can share some photo's, you can also add some photo's in the Photo Gallery too.
Also a great source for parts will be the Salvage yard sometimes a U-pull it yard close by.

These are my backup set, but they are in good condition. I got them from a U-pull it yard.
One thing I found out is that if you take a set of back seats from a 95 and put them in a 99 the mounting is different.
The original seats were cloth and they didn't hold up very well So I am replacing all of the interior components to the Dark Grey I recently order new molded carpet for it and that will be my next project.
