Wire harness doesn't match service manual
I've got a wire harness from a 1998 Z34. Comparing the wires in the C100 connector to the pinout in the manual, I have noted three differences.
B1: The manual shows a Light Green wire with the description "Transmission Mounted Neutral Safety Switch Output-Park". Here I have a purple wire instead, which I traced back to the PCM (unsure exactly which pin).
D5: The manual shows a Purple wire with the description "Fuel Gauge Sensor Signal". I have a Light Green wire that I traced back to a 7-pin connector (1 unused). That connector appears to be the one that connects to the transmission, near the shift cable.
C1: Manual lists it as a Dark Green "Coolant Temperature Indicator Lamp", that wire is missing completely.
Are B1 and D5 wires just in the wrong place on my harness? Is the manual wrong? I bought this harness from somebody online, and I'm nearly certain that this harness has not been modified due to the condition of the electrical tape and loom. Could it be from another year?
I need to be certain about the function of every wire in the harness, because I am using it in a '92 Cutlass for an L67 swap. Many the wires in the C100 need to be moved around to match up the the female connector on my firewall. C1 in particular, it doesn't matter that it's missing because my car has no use for that particular function, but I still need to be sure I'm going by accurate information when I'm swapping around wires in the C100.

I got the original pinouts from various online sources, my local libraries give me access to AllData, Chilton, and Mitchell. I never fully trust any of those, so I now have the real 1998 Monte/Lumina factory manual (2nd edition) and confirmed that those diagrams were correct. I also have factory manuals for the engine donor (97GTP), the PCM donor (98GTP), and the car the engine is going into (92 Cutlass). I think I've got all the diagrams I need, just trying to figure out this harness for now. Do your diagrams show the same info for the three pins I mentioned above?
