block is a 327 casting number 3892657 from 1967, came in a z28 camaro & camaro & as a crate motor - i was told ours is the crate version
heads casting number 10088113 from 88+ 350, aluminum, 58cc angle plug, raised d port exhaust, 1.94"/1.5" valves
intake casting number 14057053 from an 78-85 305/350 ,aluminum ,qjet ,from pass,camaro,truck

not sure what it has for a cam


when i bought the parts car it came in there was a holley 4011 650cfm in the trunk and a qjet on it

this motor will be going into my 87 ls ( some PO converted it i to a SS clone )

PO thought the motor made 300hp+
just wondering what size carb you guys suggest, my FIL thinks a 600-625 is lots, I want to put a Demon on it

 

I would think a 625 -650cfm carb would be a good choice without knowing cam specs. Have used a Demon on a roller cam 350 with good results but prefer Holley myself.

 

I agree with Jeff02rwdss go from there that carb he mentioned is a good one in my opinion
