Default What is this?

Well I just got a check engine light, and when i hooked my car up to a computer i got "secondary air flow sensor" what is this, and where can i find the part.

P.S. Im due for inspection so i need it soon

hmm... i'm thinking its that sensor that plugs into your air tube.. it pops out real easy. mayeb you should just take a look.. i'm not so sure, but hte only thing i can think of it could be is the one between teh air box and the thorttle body . the one in the throttle body is usally reported as a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor, so it must be the one i just mentioned.

the onw in the intake tube is the IAT sensor Intake Air Temperature if i had the Pxxxx code i could tell u what it most likely was

i believe its P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

air injection... sounds like a special cali- smog setup to me

First off, what year and model is your car. I believe (and I'm not real sure)the 95-97 Z34's had an air injection system special to the 3.4L DOHC motor. So if you tell us this, then we can help you more. When asking for help, please always include year, model, and motor. Good Luck!
