anyone use water wetter with dex-cool in their montes?
is it safe? let me know what you guys think

This is why I ask... The temp. Has been like this all day, Its always below the halfway point and doesn't ever go past that
I just want to keep monte a Lil cooler

It was flushed by the last owner around 5000 miles before I bought it

That doesn't tell me how long ago it was flushed :P

I usually recommend at least every 2 years with dexcool. Have you checked to make sure your thermostat is opening properly? That line should be getting close to the fan turn on point.

Lol we'll it wasn't long, since it's clean as a wistle
And I changed my heater hose fittings about a month ago and while I was at it I put in a new thermostat

And everything was flushed properly???

Is this just sitting in traffic or all the time while driving?

I'm pretty sure it was, he had the reciept from firestone

Well it was just today, it went back down now
Weird

And when I changed the fittings I bled the system correctly

I wouldn't add anything foreign to the cooling system.

If you want the car to run colder, put a 180° thermostat in and have the PCM fan speeds changed
