Default V8 engine swap

Im really interested in doing an engine swap to a v8. I want it to have at least 300hp on the new engine... What I want to know is how much it would all cost and what engine would be the best for it I cant spend more than $2000 for this and if you can find an engine for sale with a link that would help. Any info on this would be great

Good Luck sending only $2000 for this swap ...
The engine & trans may cost you $2000 then you have the install & the computer programing..

Easiest way would be to sell your car and then buy an 06/07 SS. You'll be very hard pressed to complete an engine swap for $2k or less.

Not sure if there is a turbo kit for the 3500, definitely no supercharger kit for it.

I have to agree with other members, 2k is really not enough to finish a project of that size. Maybe look into nitrous and some dyno tuning.

A custom turbo build on your car can easily cost around $5000

If you want the power, you really need to jump up to either an SS version of what you have, or drop down to an 04/05 Supercharged version and do basic mods on that
