What trans is in it now? 3sd(th200) or 4sd OD(Th200r4)?

you will loose mpg/kpg (idk since your in canada which you go by) since your going from an over drive to a 3sd from what i've read you will probably need a new x member and you may have to switch out the front yoke that slides into the trans i do belive they have a different sline count, other than that as long as it's a short tail th350(6in tail)

i would get anouther 4 speed or one of tremics 6 speed auto trans to give more mph/kph. to give more enjoyment out of it i am just asking because it will kill the gas milege due to lack of other gears. my other question is it going to be a straight away car?

i ran a 350 trans for quite a while and speaking from experience i personally liked the 350 better than the overdrive. hard shifts, good gear ratios, and lighter. the only reason i swapped was because the car was driven on a highway constantly and was a mismatched combo. the 350 isnt a bad choice and wont kill fuel mileage as long as your not over geared or undercammed (as i was when i was running one). having a car that runs out of cam at 4000rpm and 3.70s made for a car that was buzzing itself to death at 60 miles an hour. with the combo thats in it now im tempted to go back to the 350 trans. just my opinion though.

drive shaft is the same , just need a crossmember. If its a floor shift, you will need the trans shifter cable bracket also, different between the two. Column shift may have to do some adjustments on the end of the down rod.
