I don't know about that look. Seems to boxy for the fluid Monte shape. I thought it would look better with a cowl-style hood like old mid-80's TransAm.

I still interested to see how this turns out. Seems like a lot of work

I too think they are too boxy looking. Specialy with the nice lines the Monte has. But I'm lost on what you could do. I do like he window idea if it's a show car

 

Yeah deff boxy looking, id try to make somthing a bit more curved that fits the cars lines good

 

I don't like the boxy looking scoops at all, but I do like the 3 alt. setup. Very creative!

Personally, I agree with z34phoenix's clear acrylic thing over it. Maybe a lump like thing, kinda like the shape of the mid 90's mitsu/eagle hood:

 

I was thinking along the same lines a Zipper, and i would only do it on the side you need it.

 

Don't tell him to make a hood like an Eclipse! That would turn anyone off.

Maybe flip those scoops around 180 degrees? I like your craftsmanship, i think this is a very unique set up and it all looks pretty straight!

I dont have any problem with the way this looks at all but i would turn those scoops around the other way.

Also what is the benefit of more then one alternator?

 

Hmmm they scopes are to square but i think that if you did a big solid one scoop to cover it would look much better....only my opionon though

 

I'm diggin the idea of the Eclipse bump.

Especially if done with some kind of clear plastic.

I think that'd look frickin sweet!!

(personal preference, though)
