Default Tow Button?

Greetings! I notice on all larger GM vehicles, there are tow buttons. I know our cars have a tow mode that is goes into if the car is under load but will come out of it as fast as it gets into it.

I haul stuff around. Lots. I would like to have the option to turn that load mode on and off.

I realize this is through the ECU and I likely have to forget about it but if there are a few input pins that I could install in my current ECU, no problem.

This basically adjusts the shift points to something more accommodating to the load of the vehicle.

This all sounds harder and crazier than it is. It's in the programming of the ECU, but is it in the inputs for the ECU wiring?

To my understanding we don't have a tow mode. You just put the transmission in 3 and don't haul more than 1000 lbs
