Default Torque management tuning?

Hey guys, quick question. So while I have been working on getting my engine tuned I have been doing some reading on torque management and how to tune it and I wanted to know what you guys do. Comparing my current tune to the stock tune on the engine side of things, it looks like everything in the Maximum Torque side of things is disabled, and the Spark Retard vs. Torque reduction table has been actually been bumped up 4 degrees. This is probably left over from the overkill canned tune, so im assuming it is safe, but I want to see what you guys do on your cars.

The tune is attached.

The majority of canned tunes do just remove torque management completely. I'll try to remember to take a look when I'm home on my tuning laptop.

Is that wise given the state of these transmissions? I went ahead and under the transmission section on the normal and performance torque management tables copied in the stock values and multiplied them by 0.5. Its less aggressive than what is on there now, but its hopefully going to be more responsive than stock. I also decided to then multiply the 3 -> 4 shift in both tables by 2.5 so its safer than stock, my thought process being it would help keep 4th gear protected from WOT. Let me know what you have on yours because I'm not really sure if any of this makes sense or matters.

Removing it all just puts the torque management on your right foot. If you aren't dumb with the car, torque management being off shouldn't really be more harmful. The way that the car cuts power with torque management is bad, it can cut fuel to kill power and can make you ping.

If you want to save the trans, don't do WOT pulls in 4th, keep the shifter in 3 if you are going WOT

Not sure about HPT, but with DHP / TT, there is torque management for shift spark reduction - basically pulling timing only during the shifts. I would strongly suggest leaving it / modifying it as needed to keep it active. IMO the car isn't going to be noticeably faster by running full timing / power while its shifting, so I dont see a downside to reducing the stress a bit as long as you aren't going nuts with the amount of timing.
