ran across this

The Magnuson nose drive is a complete assembly for your stock supercharger. If your bearings have gone bad, this replacement nose drive will get your car running like new again for a fraction of the cost of a remanufactured supercharger. Also, it significantly increases boost across the entire RPM range.
With the pre-installed 3.4 pulley, approximate maximum boost is raised to 11.5 psi and approximate horsepower gains are 25-30 HP. The new nose drive shaft and pulley are keyed which means you can change pulleys as easy and as often as you like. Includes one 3.4 pulley installed. Order additional pulleys separately.

IMPORTANT: a $150.00 core deposit will be charged to your credit card and refunded upon return of your core to Magnuson. Please allow about 2 weeks for the refund to process after your core has been received.

Q: Where do I send my core return to?
A: Please Click here to fill out our core return form. Instructions are at the bottom. Please make sure to let us know when you have shipped your core by filling out this page.

NOTE: Please return your core to us within 60 days of receiving your nose drive. If we do not get your core within 60 days, you will forfeit your core refund.

Application: GM 3.8L Series II V6

Magnuson's official instructions are available by clicking here.

Um, 11.5 psi on a 3.4 pulley will probably make you chunk a piston.

Total waste of money. If your current snout is shot- buy another one off the forums. I bet you could get a replacement snout for $50 or less.

Secondly, if you want a 3.4" pulley that is easy to swap- buy a MPS system, and rent a pulley puller. Put on an MPS hub, and you can swap to ANY size pulley with just removing the belt and 5 little allen screws. Not to mention the major MPS brands have tons of pulley sizes whereas you're very limited with the Magnuson unit.

How much is it?
$280... ouch:
