That's not what I initially posted and you know it, nor was I sarcastic when I initially posted what I did. It seems there was a bit of miscommunication there so lets start over again..........

Just so you know, I probably know the least of anyone on this board when it comes to powertrain stuff. I had no idea what a top swap was, well I had an idea but didn't realize a supercharger was part of it. It wasn't until jwjones posted his comment that a supercharger pulls power from the motor that I realized THAT is the swap you were doing. Had I known that from the get go I wouldn't have asked my first question as to what you stand to gain from such expensive mods/upgrades. But I know intent and tone is next to impossible to interpret over the net and misunderstandings like this can happen. No harm, no foul.

And like I originally posted, I wish you luck with this build and hope it works out for you. I'm actually kind of jealous that I couldn't do this upgrade even if I wanted to since mine is a 3.5

So when do you get started on the actual build part?

I"m glad we firgured that out because grudges are pointless and I hate holding them over peoples heads who I don't even know.

I plan to do this in the summer. Depending on how much I work, I hope to get the top swap, headers, and exhaust done all this summer.

Maybe you could've put the money you used to produce 160dB into your engine! Lol but I understand that people have priorities, and maybe your engine isn't one of yours. I have a friend who is the same way. He has a >$1000 system in his car and it's LOUD, yet everything under his hood is completely stock.

Small misunderstanding.. sorry for my earlier post, Milhouse.

Glad we were able to handle that.

I can't wait to see this come to fruition, one hell of an upgrade that's for sure! True that on the priorities, for me audio is way more important than motor mods. But i'm a fan of anything that makes cars go faster for sure, especially one's that take your car from n/a to supercharged. No worries man, simple misunderstanding, apology accepted
