what year monte?

are you talking about the 3.4 DOHC V6 (1995-1997)or the 3400 OHV V6 (2000-current)?
they are diff engines

I was on the phone with a GM rep. today asking about their prices for a rebuilt supercharger for my 98 monte w/ the 3800 3.8 engine, and the dude told me that GM doesn't make one... but is that not the same engine thats in the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP? cuz that engine comes with a supercharger....

 

correct. the 3800 engine as it is called is diff then the l67 SC 3800 the block is the same, but the heads and lower intake manifold are diff.

they also carry the harnesses you would need and some other parts.

It is much easyer to Turbo our DOHC 3.4 then Supercharge it. with a SC so far no one has found location to mount it without having the SC stick out the hood.

 

this company call rsm racing (z-spec) makes a supersharger kit for 3100/3400 not sure on the price an durability i heard mix remarks but worth looking in to
