i was wondering what it takes to get a used supercharger of an o4 and put it on a 2000 SS. they are really cheap on ebay and i need to know what all i need to make the conversion if its possible. like electrical stuff

 

Read the differences between the L36 and the L67 engines and you can figure out what is needed for the mod, like intake manifold, etc.

I traded my '01 Monte SS for my '04 Intimidator SS strictly for the supercharger. Being a Dale Sr. car is a bonus.

As for the supercharger upgrade, you will want to upgrade your transmission to an HD version so you don't blow it out.

if your looking to supercharge the 3.8 and you dont feel like pulling your heads and such you can always do the "top swap" and get the superhcarger. I believe milzymotorsports.com has it for sale its around 1300 buks but its worth it. But if you dont swap your heads and just do the supercharger you have to be careful with future mods as you dont have as high of compression as the l67 does.
