Default spark troubles

Ok so i just bought this 96 z34 3.4 DOHC and about a week after i had it the service engine light was blinking and a cylinder was missing bad about every third or so rotation. So my buddy works at a dealer so i take it there get it coded. Says problem with secondairy air intake on cylinder 2 so we check the plug. Original plug 119000 miles on that baby tracer mark down the glass the gap was almost touching from build up so i said well about time for new plugs eh? Well i got the ac/delco plats about $33 for six then i go try to get spark wires.... $165 wtf carquest are you freaking nuts?!?!?!?! theres no way plugs wires are that much so i turn to the internet so about the cheapest pair i can find is $137. Then the really bad part is since theres two gaskets in the way and we cant get the engine to rock forward and we cant get them from the back. I have to take the car to a shop to do the back three plugs and wires. Just for three plugs im preolly gonna get a $100 bill. Does anyone know if i can get cheaper wires then that thought thats a tad bit expensive. thanks
