SLP Loudmouth
So I recently put on a set of SLP headers and an SLP Loudmouth cat-back system, and I agree wiht 04MonteLS. What a difference.
Anyone else have SLP or heard anything about them? Whats the scoop on these guys and what does everyone think of them? |

Hmm... are the headers for the 3.8 and 3.4 really that different? and as far as a cat-back, im sure one size fits all. just as long as the pipe is the same size. I really like them. they seem to be doing really good. and thanks for the info.

But they do some stuff for the 3.8 |

What kind of go fast goodies do they make for the 3.8? like components and stuff? I havent really done much research or anything on SLP, just know that I like my headers. lol

Hypertech Programmer? Nope, maybe I will give it a look.
I was pretty interested in the Digital Horsepower Inc. PCM. it sounds pretty tight and its not too much. check it out. PCM I will diffinitely look at some of those other websites though. |

Love the thing as far as go fast stuff right now if your not reprogramed your kind of stuck other wise you will not get the gains yourafter till you open up the mind so to speak of the car. |

as far as the S.L.P group, when i bought my car they had a advertisement and i was asking aobut it.
They didnt do many but they had a stag 1,2,&3 kit for the monte carlos. they would make hudge gains compared to stock so yeah they are a big player in the Monte world also. but someplace ont eh net i have found it once or twice about what each of thier stages were. they will late yo know what they were and what they added to teh cars for each stage. |

I know they did the rockers and lifters alos they had the inectors changed to somethign not sure what it was,Lowerd springs and reprogramed. several other small things on the front end and of course badging for the whole thing to advertise the stage 3 being onit |

I'm originally from Reno, NV and they actually have a retail outlet there. Summit offers some pretty good stuff for domestic cars. www.summitracing.com. |

when i first saw it i was at teh dealers buying my car and it was in the brochure, when i asked if i culd get it i was told i would ahve to order the car from G.M. and then they would take it to them to ge the stage three stuff put on to it. then i would get it from them in a extra three weeks.
Now when i got home i did a serch for thier site and found they had it on thier site. not sure if they stil do have it on there or not. If they dont you might be abel to get it from them if you email them and ask . Or they might beabel to tell you what it was . if they send you alist of all the mods please send it to me so i have a copy of it i would liek to start looking in to it also. right now i think the next major thing i will do will be the headers for mine. |

they ahve some nice stuff but one thing i have noticed on a lot of the sies is they dont list the the monte carlos as a group by them selves but they will list the W body or G body etc...
So i normally will do a serc to see fi i can find montecarlo that way. i know SLP on thier site has them in a serch but not the group for them . for some reason Montes have taken a back seat to the grand prix. LOL Go figure. |

Is that an SLP mod or what? I've never really looked on SLPonline.com that much, mostly just other sites that deal SLP stuff. I guess I will have to take a better look.

it is a package that was offerd to buyers of the M/C as a way to hop up your brand new car before you ever get it.
they are a race car builder or company? but they did some work on the 3800 V-6 and then shared what they found to unleash several extra horse power. so they are simular to what yenko did for the Charmaros but for the monte carlos |
