If you know were the MAP sensor is, the PCV valve is under it. When you remove the MAP, the bracket that holds it in also twist out like a headlight. But a little harder to move. Once removed the PCV valve is accessible. There is a spring under it that is re-usable. There is also an O-Ring. The new valve has a new ring.
The MAP and PCV sit on the right side of the intake Plenum, facing the car, above the belt. I don't have a pick. But I just put "location 02 Monte Carlo SS PCV. Valve" in my search engine image section. That's how I found it!

On mine the pcv valve is right on top but it has riveted bracket so you can't remove it. I googled about this and it said that it was only put on the 2005 and its there so you can't put an aftermarket one one. Could I just cut off the bracket?

I January have to say, I don't know. I would assume you can and then put a new rivet in. But that's an assumption.
Hopefully a member with an 05 or experience with one will chime in and help out! Sorry!

Default Problem fixed

The car is fixed
I cleaned the EGR valve and now its starting and running perfectly. Thank you all for all your help and suggstions; we managed to fix it without spending much and only changing things that should be done anyways.
I hope this will help others in the future
