I've seen 8, 8.2 and 8.5mm wires on summit and what not. if im guessin right id say the 8.5 are the best ones to get. right? one thing im not sure of though is whats the best spark plug out there? gotta build her up one step at a time, just wanna do it right and put the best on that i can.

big question what engine?

for a supercharged i would go with a NGK iridium, or std copper. as platnum wont hold up under boost.

as for brand. i have heard too many complaints about the +2 +4 from bosch so i wouldnt suggest them

so far i have used AC delco rapid fire platnums and loved them and im dropping in the iridiums next.

There has been alot of discussion here and elsewhere on the subject of wires, plugs and coil pack upgrades. Alot of people feel that the aftermarket stuff is a waste of money and the factory equipment is just as good.

For those of you that have replaced these items with aftermarket stuff, did you see an improvement?

Were the gains worth the extra $$$ in your opinion?

I am going with a programmer, CAI, ram air hood, high flow cat, u bend delete, flowmaster duals, and 1.8:1 SLP roller rockers. I am definately going with the new wires, but do you think I should also go with the Accel coil packs?
