Default Please not the tranny!

From a complete stop, my '03 SS 78,000 miles will either rev up when put in drive without moving or rev up instead of shifting after 2k -3k rpms. Also I'm almost sure it down shifted way too late today (got over 4k rpms doing about 45 mph ). Today sucks, my amp blew ealier too. Oh yeah I just had my 60,000 mile maitenance done a little late back in March buy this is a new issue.

You may have a loose cable or something. Check everything before you replace the tranny. Not to much help but these cars blow trannies pretty fast...

maybe a little too hard in hot, dry, dusty Las Vegas. As far as yours, if it is the cat, call gm customer service and give them your VIN number to see if your car falls under their extended warranty for the cat.
