Default Performance Transmission

While looking up some parts for my other car I came across this site,

http://www.importperformancetrans.com/gmautofwd.shtml

Has anyone heard about these guys?

Never heard of them. But $3,000 for a transmission I suspect they're building a pretty tough transmission, definitely one for the modified supercharged or turbocharged setups. Unless you need a tranny that will handle 500WHP or more, I wouldn't bother with this one, that's an awful lot of money for a tranny. I know Thrasher makes a "Racing" 4t65e tranny for $1,800 or so, but it doesn't seem to have all the extras that this one does.
