looks like i have to take it to the car shop to get it pressure tested dont i

when you get a chance, open your hood and see if you see a kinda straight line in the heat lining. (black fabric under hood) when my water pump took a dive, it was leeking onto the belt flinging fluid onto under the hood. please note, putting antifreeze into the over flow bottle is not neccesarly going to go to the rad, these are gravity feed systems. when mine first started over heating i to saw the overflow filled but the rad was empty.

did u add pure coolant or mix it 50/50? and get it pressure tested

i added dexcool like the overflow cap had on it

also looked at the hood it there is like 2 black lines in the heat lining looks like the outline of the belt

Problem solved it was a leaky elbow
