Well a puddle on the driveway is better than having coolant leak inside the engine...

Sounds to me like your water pump crapped out. Not that big of a deal...

I wonder if you have a coolant elbow break :P

But water pump seems more logical lol

how can i check these things?
Look at your engine and see where the leaking coolant is coming from?

a simple pressure test will show that leak in 2 seconds.

well now all of a sudden today the puddle no longer appears. I have no idea whats goin on with my car

Take it somewhere and get the system tested, if it's a problem it will be VERY costly if you don't get it fixed now.

It might only leak when its warm, or when its cold...sounds like maybe its leaking only when its warm since I am assuming it sat over night and is cold now...if its a small leak, the expansion from the heat might be what makes it start leaking, then it seals up when cold, this could work reverse too....Plus when its driven, and right after you turn it off, the coolin system is under pressure, which also will make it leak worse....

You really need to pressure test to whole cooling system to find out where its leaking from...
