Default Oh great

Well, i was coming home tonight, and when i hit 35 ish it began making a VERY loud winding noise that almost sounded transmission like. Any idea what the problem may be?

Haha no offroading done in monte. But it was all good until i was coming up a completely dry hill, hit like 35 and heard a very loud noise, and when i let off the throttle it kind of pulled forward. It stopped making noise as i slowed down or got over 50, but when i came off the next intersection it was even more loud from 30 and up this time.

Does the noise come from someplace closer to the front of the car or the rear of the car?
Is the noise a scraping sound or is it rotational and mechanical sounding?

Does the noise increase in speed as the car goes faster?
Can you hear the noise without the car in motion?

Would you call call the noise: Mono, stereo or 5.1 Surround-sound?

Comes from front, seems like right infront of sash, not rubbing or grinding, just a waaaa lol. It only comes in when im in 3rd pretty much, and under 30 mph and over 50 its silent. And when i apply gas it gets louder.

It does not usually ride in 3rd during those speeds does it, mine doesnt, its usually in second. mine does not usually ride 3rd till at about 45 to 50 when crusin. if it is does it at 30 it really should be in second, maby it could be the tranny but its not shiftin completely into gear and then when it get up to speed when it shifts into next gear its completely shifted into that gear. maby that why only it does it from 30 to 50

If you turn left or right does the sound get louder or go away in either direction. Because what you are describing to me sounds just like when my front right wheel bearing went out on my car.
